Friends, today, Spandan Foundation, Mumbai visited a school in a remote area of Vikramgad, Wada (Palghar). As we stated in the last few posts, we were planning to provide books, notebooks, building computer lab, providing them with personal and public hygiene facilities, and give them subject-wise additional guidance, etc.Today, with the help of our kind and generous friends, we made books available to 148 school students. We repair their toilets and provide new doors for it. We donated tube lights and fans so that students can learn in a comfortable environment. We distributed sanitary pads to the girls. Iron doors were installed for school students to protect them from snakes, scorpions in the monsoon. Electricity pump was installed in the vicinity of the school itself.Also, we developed a computer lab so that our tribal brothers should not be left behind in the field of technology. Our members of Team Spandan had a good time with students and our female teammates (including the doctor) also guided school girls on how to take care of their health and sanitation. Spandan Foundation held today’s program by strictly following the Covid-19 preventive instructions, in the presence of a few teachers and students. Students and teachers were very surprised to see this Diwali gift given by Spandan Foundation and there was a feeling of gratitude on their faces. All this was possible because of the grace shown by our friends and well-wishers. Team Spandan is very thankful to you all!
मित्रहो, आज स्पंदन फाऊंडेशन मुंबई ने विक्रमगड, वाडा येथील एका दुर्गम भागातील शाळेत भेट दिली. आम्ही गेल्या काही पोस्ट मध्ये सांगितल्या प्रमाणे दुर्गम भागातील शाळांमध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांना आवश्यक अशी संसाधने पुरवणे, त्यांना तंत्रज्ञानाच्या क्षेत्रातील कौशल्य मिळवण्यासाठी संगणक पुरवणे, त्यांना वैयक्तिक आणि सार्वजनिक स्वच्छतेच्या सोयी उपलब्ध करणे, त्यांना विषयवार अतिरिक्त मार्गदर्शन करणे अशा अनेक गोष्टींवर भर देत असते. याही वेळी आम्ही आपल्या दिलदार आणि दानशूर मित्रांच्या मदतीने एका शाळेच्या 148 विद्यार्थ्याना वह्या पुस्तके उपलब्ध करून दिली तसेच त्यांची शौचालय दुरुस्ती, वर्गखोल्या दुरुस्तीही करून दिली. मुलींना सॅनिटरी पॅड्स चे वाटप केले. शाळेच्या विद्यार्थ्यांना पावसाळ्यात साप किंवा अन्य धोकादायक प्राण्यांचा त्रास होऊ नये म्हणून शाळेच्या वर्गाना लोखंडी दरवाजे बसवले. मुलांना पाण्याची सोय व्हावी म्हणून विद्युत पंपाची सोय केली. तसेच तंत्रज्ञानाच्या क्षेत्रातही आपले ग्रामीण विद्यार्थी बांधव मागे राहू नये म्हणून संगणक कक्ष तयार करून दिला. टीम स्पंदनच्या आमच्या महिला सदस्यांनी त्यांच्याशी हितगुज केले आणि आमच्या डॉक्टर मैत्रिणी ने शालेय मुलींना वयात येताना आरोग्याची काळजी कशी घ्यावी याचे मार्गदर्शनही केले.स्पंदन फाऊंडेशन ने मोजक्या शिक्षक आणि विद्यार्थ्यांच्या उपस्थितीत कोविड-19 प्रतिबंधक सूचनांचे काटेकोर पणे पालन करत आजचा कार्यक्रम पार पडला. स्पंदन फाऊंडेशन ने दिलेली ही दिवाळीची भेट पाहून विद्यार्थी आणि शिक्षक अत्यंत भारावून गेले होते आणि त्यांच्या चेहऱ्यावर ही कृतज्ञतेचे भाव होते. हे सारे काही तुम्हा मित्रमंडळींनी आणि हितचिंतकांनी दाखविलेल्या औदार्यामुळे शक्य झाले. टीम स्पंदन तुम्हा सर्वांची अत्यंत आभारी आहे.
