We have been hearing the news that there is acute crisis of blood bottles in the blood banks of Maharashtra. This acute crisis led patients of thalassemia and accidents in great danger. Government officials also appealed to public to come forward and donate the blood. Medical administration is already facing huge challenge to stop Corona and this new problem was making the problem worse. This acute crisis led patients of thalassemia and accidents in great danger. Team Spandan decided to come forward and donate blood in such serious situation. But sharp rise in Covid cases caused panic in people. Thus many people don’t turn in to donate the blood. To make people believe that we can donate blood in the pandemic, our volunteers made innovative video. We also took help of Zee Marathi actors- Sumeet Bhokse, Priyanka Tendolkar and Tanvi Mundle to spread the awareness. In response of these campaigns by us today 31 donors donated blood at Bharatratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Shatabdi Hospital between 11AM-2PM. All the donors, volunteers and Hospital staff set the example by taking proper precautions of covid-19 guidelines.
We encourage you to to come forward and donate your blood. You can save up to three lives by donating once.

मागील काही दिवसांपासून आपण सारे आपल्या महाराष्ट्रात अनेक ठिकाणी रक्ताची गंभीर टंचाई च्या बातम्या पाहत आहोत. रक्ताच्या या कमतरते मुळे थेलेसेमिया आणि अपघाती आजाराच्या अनेक रुग्णांच्या जीवाला धोका निर्माण होण्याची भीती सातत्याने व्यक्त केली जात आहे. सरकारनेही जाहीररित्या जनतेला रक्त दान करण्याचे आवाहन केले आहे. वैद्यकीय यंत्रणांना कोरोनाच्या संकटासोबत याही समस्येला तोंड द्यायचे आहे.
टीम स्पंदनच्या आमच्या संवेदनशील सदस्यांनी या गंभीर संकटात आपल्या नागरिकांच्या मदतीसाठी नेहमीप्रमाणे पुढे यायचे ठरवले आणि आम्ही रक्तदान शिबिर आयोजित केले. परंतु वाढत्या कोरूना केसेसच्या भयावह स्थितीमुळे अनेकजण रक्तदान करण्यास कचरत आहेत असे आम्हाला जाणवले. त्यासाठी आमच्या सदस्यांनी नाविन्यपूर्ण व्हिडिओ बनवली. तसेच झी मराठीवरच्या सुमित भोकसे, तनवी मुंडले, प्रियंका तेंडोलकर या कलाकारांची मदत घेऊन रक्तदान करण्याचे आव्हान केले.
या आमच्या आवाहनाला प्रतिसाद देत कांदिवली येथील डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर शताब्दी हॉस्पिटल येथे आज आमच्या 31 सदस्यांनी रक्तदान केले. कोरोना महामारीच्या या कठीण काळात स्पंदन टीम ने कोविड -19 च्या सर्व नियमांचे पालन करत रक्तदान करून समाजापुढे चांगला आदर्श प्रस्थापित केला आहे.
आपणही सर्वांनी शक्य असल्यास जरूर रक्तदानासाठी पुढे यावे आणि आपल्या गरजू रुग्णांना रक्ताची मदत करावी. आपल्या एका वेळच्या रक्तदानामुळे तीन अनमोल जीव वाचू शकतात.
सर्वांनी सुरक्षित राहा.. स्वतःची काळजी घ्या. आरोग्यविषयक नियमांचे पालन करा. कोविड-19 चा सर्वांनी मुकाबला करूया.
